Hello Blog
What are you as a blog?
A blog is a personal diary. A daily pulpit. A collaborative space. A political soapbox. A breaking-news outlet. A collection of links. Your own private thoughts. Memos to the world. An on going conversation between a man and his silent invisible friend.
So you Blog are going to be whatever we want you to be. There are millions of you out there in all shapes and sizes, and there are no real rules. We get to decide Blog, the topic of conversation, the level of rant versus rave, how well we stay on track or how far off the beaten path we stray.
In simple terms, you blog are a web site, where I write stuff on an ongoing basis. New stuff shows up at the top, so your visitors can read what's new. Then they comment on it or link to it or email you. Or not. We have four followers already and that is not so bad my quiet friend.
What is our relationship? I the speaker you the soap box? I the writer and you the read? Robin to my batman jelly to my peanut butter? We are two friends so different yet bound together by a common goal Blog, The more I write the more you exist, you do exist so there for I am driven to write.
Always I am at a loss when it comes to ending a post, bringing a conversation of ours ( oh so one sided they are ) to a close. Be good Blog and I hope this post has shed some light on us for you. It has been good for me to get it out and see it in the written word.
Trooper.

Happiness?
Hello from the real world Blog, how have you been my silent friend? I hope this post finds you happy and content in your own quiet way, out there in the world wide web. Wow happy and content? now there is a bold statement for sure Blog, No pressure right. I for one have found happiness in simple things like well stress.LOL yes I am a stress monkey and love a complicated situation to resolve diffuse or fix. I love a cold brew at the end of a work day or in the middle of an off day,
I would have to say staying creative, productive, being able to help and provide is the Key To My Happiness. how about you Blog? fresh material to post? Lots of followers to re quote and comment upon your posts?
What is Happy any way ? And how do we find Happiness? is it really so illusive? Can we just say Don't worry be happy and people will?
Lets start off by defining Happy. "characterized by or indicative of pleasure, contentment, or joy: a happy mood; a happy frame of mind." Happy Happy Joy Joy.
Nice clean simple definition yes Blog? I like the use of the words Character, Contentment, Joy and frame of mind.
Are we able to measure Happiness Blog? Is it something to be measured? Do we measure in time or value? " It was a happy year" I for one believe happiness is a choice and we only need to be brave enough to make that choice.
Blog I have been dragging my heels on how to close this post and I finally get it, Oh it took an event of personal unhappiness to ring the bell but now blog I get it, You are so lucky to be the silent type my friend because you will never commit the act of Self Sabotage. To all us Self Saboteur out there.....REALLY? Back to the pursuit of happiness I guess

Hello Blog? Hello?
Hello Blog
I know it has been a couple days since we talked last, sorry for the absence.
I get so hung up in my world of text messages and emails and eBay and etc...
Maybe if every one answered my text messages and emails and etc right away I would not be so hung up.
Why is that a big deal you ask blog? !! Come on why else do we have Smart Phones? I mean there is every opportunity to check face book, email, text back....what are they all at work? Being responsible? Give me a break.
I can not be the only soul on the planet that is checking email, text, pinterest
Every five minutes. If you commit to a social network life them stay on board, keep in touch, pay attention. What are they all talking to their significant others? Kids? Playing with their dogs? Trying to do their jobs! I mean come on!!!
You buy a phone that is smart right? So it can do what your computer can do right? Then you walk away from the desk, out into the world, never to stay on top of this social network life again? Is that what you paid several hundred dollars for! No it was to be in touch on board all the time. So hide where you have to at work, ignore the people at dinner with you and right before bed instead of kissing some one good night send out a blanket text, email, face book, pinterest, tweet that says good night every one , I love you all.
We will all forward the text on out smart phones, retweet on twitter, repin on to our own boards on pinterest, like it on face book, turn it into a chain email etc
So good night blog, love you man, I will text, twitter, pinterest, email you soon,
Trooper
P.S. I will check back every five minutes or so for your response

Hey blog, we are on Pinterest
Hey blog
Well I have got news for you buddy, pinterest, what is that you ask? Well it is only the hottest new social networking site and we are on board. I will be posting all of our conversations as soon as they happen. I know this is taking all the privacy out of this blogging we do but hey is that not what we are here to do? Build a small loyal following! Reach a broader audience?
We need to set a goal blog, something aggressive like I did with eBay. We could pin five times a day? Post every blog conversation we have? Try to double our followers each month? Hell how about we try them all? We can do it blog you and I.
I think I am gonna change your title as well, no more bread and beer, something catchy like Hello Blog, or blog and I, what about my friend Blog? Now we will still talk about bread and beer now and again, pairings and great brew I come across but this conversation needs a title, one that stands out from the rest and will catch the eye. Ok Hello Blog it is. Good call my friend.
Well thanks for the support blog, and for being a good listener. Now that we have established the relationship and the avenues for an audience to find us we need to get into some of the deeper stuff, you know blog, a good rant and rave is in order. I will start mowing that over and get back to you soon. I can feel one brewing in the back of the old mind and it is a good one for sure. I may need a brew or two to get it all out lol.
Ttys blog.

Hello blog
Hello blog
I have decided to start speaking to you instead of through you, it feels more natural and the words flow better when I am addressing some one so Hello Blog,
I know I have not been staying on top of my communication with you, time just seamed to slip by these days. I think as we build followers and start to receive more comments I will get better, or maybe it's the other way around, I will get better and we will build more followers and receive more comments.
I guess what I need to decide is what do I want out of this relationship with you blog, help growing a social community, help growing my eBay store, a friend ? Like an invisible friend when we were all kids. Lol oh this is getting good.
I tell you what , I will commit to staying in touch on a semi daily basis and you just be a good listener, you know some times the best thing to say is nothing at all blog, just listen and let me rant or rave, story tell or fact find. Get it all out and hope to some day reach a small audience of loyal listeners like your self.
I will try to keep the topics in line with the title, bread and beer but you know I can get up on my soap box now and again, let me know if I get to far off track will you? Maybe just a nod or a stern look will do.
ThankS blog,
Trooper

Day three of the fasting, when I got home last night I was thinking this is it, I will get through the open and then eat on my lunch, how much can my body take right? Then it hit me I am not thinking with all three aligned. I Can do more than I think and my body can handle more.
So I ended the night with three slices of bread, banana nut, asiago, jalapeƱo Cheddar and a IPA :) yes it was time for a brew, you know the monks always fasted with liquid bread. So I guess this has become a bread and beer fast. How appropriate. The IPA was inversion IPA from Deschutes brewery , now this is one of my favorites for sure but this one was to be remembered. The citrus and floral that came through last night was unbelievable. What an amazing feeling to drink a brew and feel like it was the first time. For sure a highlight of this stage of the fast.
To the say the least I was a cheap date, one brew and feeling fine. Now the main reason for the brew last night was to sleep, I was feeling like I would never want to sleep again, got here at 4:30 am and have been on fire, the feeling of clarity and focus, the extra aromas, the sense of awareness at this stage in the fast, the none stop energy. Crazy.
( hours later ) settled in on the couch, about to have an inversion IPA . I have had two slices of bread this evening as well as one brew. My energy level is still way up there, my body feels great, all the senses are still just off the charts. I am kinda sad I am ending this fast tonight. I was thinking at one point yesterday how can I feel this good with so little going in to my body. Then I remembered the last time I had a big lunch. That dragged down feeling shortly after? Last time I thought in the middle of a day " just a little more coffee" I have no urge for coffee or sugar at all during the day, just water. I now know my body can do way more than I think, with way less than we think. I will for sure be fasting on a regular basis, maybe once a month for now. The feeling of energy and clarity is amazing, now to see how long it last. Tonight is all about a good craft beer buzz, some easy food like hummus and bread.

Hello world
Well the first step is always the hardest right? After much reading and consideration I decided the first step to setting the course was to learn this old dog a new trick. Fasting, This will be a short series of post related to a three day fast. Ending in amazing craft beer, Bread and hummus. The Point. The reasons are very simple, I am teaching my mind and body a few simple things about it self, One it can do way more that I think it can. Two I want to remove as much of the bad fat and toxins in side me as possible and promote natural healing, Three and this is the topper offer as an old friend would say, I must re learn to to think with my head, heart and body at the same time. I am a personality divided and if you know me you know this to be true.
The Process, Everyday will be about the same, A few sips of espresso in the morning. A work out and two slices of GOOD bread, 12 grain etc, I will fill my days with tasks most of which I have been a procrastinator of or work, At the end of each I will again work out and have two slices of bread. On some shifts at work I will allow myself yogurt and an apple.A ton of water every day, Soda water at night.
Today is day two and I feel amazing, Everything around me feels brighter. I read so much about bad side effects during the first few days I was a little worried. I walk by the table this morning while my youngest was eating cereal and thought cheerios have never smelled so good. Then I realized how far away they were from me and thought cheerios have never had that serious of an aroma, Espresso? any one who knows me knows Every Morning it is two shots over ice, The aroma this morning was literally breath taking, I could of poured it over pancakes or cake. I only allowed my self a few sips, enough to not get a caffeine head ache.
So here is how today should go, Work out, Two slices of Asiago bread then off to work, Some where in the middle of my 10 hour day at the cafe ( Yes I am fasting while working at a Panera Bread and running food for at least three of my ten hours ) I will have yogurt and a apple, Tonight after another work out I will have two more slices of bread and soda water. I should burn off about 1.25 pounds today and remove major toxins in the process. I will comment on this post through out the day.

To whom it may concern
Just seamed like the best way to start this post, I have for ever wanted to make major change, shift the tides, really find my core and come out a better me. I have for ever told myself keep grinding, brew for lubrication, Laugh and love when you can. it will all work out in the end. THAT is not true. To many times I have stuck to the grind only to lift my head and find myself way off course. This is the time now, I am setting the course, Keeping my head up and into the wind so I can see the direction I go from here. It has to be ALL IN, head body and soul. I will work hard to take care of those that depend on me and work harder than ever to reconnected with some I have lost along the way. All I have ever really needed is the basics, Bread & Beer a way to make a living and some one to laugh and love with. nothing fancy.
